Terms of Service

Effective October 14, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Velicutis (“we,” “us”), which operates EstheIQ at estheiq.com, the EstheIQ app, and the client Care portal (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Who can use EstheIQ

Professional accounts are for skincare professionals aged 18 or older. Clients may use the Care portal when invited by an esthetician; if a client is under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms on their behalf. You must give accurate information and keep access to your email or Google account secure, because that is how you sign in. You are responsible for activity on your account.

2. Not medical advice

EstheIQ provides educational and professional-support information about skincare ingredients and routines. The Acne Safety Score, recommendations, consultation plans, and AI-written text are informational only. They are not a medical diagnosis or treatment, and they do not replace the judgment of a licensed professional or a physician. AI-generated content can be incomplete or wrong. Clients with severe, painful, or persistent skin conditions should see a dermatologist. Professionals remain fully responsible for the advice and services they give their clients.

3. Plans, trials, and billing

EstheIQ offers a free plan with limited features, a free trial of the full Service, and paid subscriptions. The features and trial length available are shown in the app and on our pricing page, and may change over time.

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance through Stripe, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Account & Billing; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are not refundable for partial periods. If we change prices, we will tell you in advance, and the new price applies from your next billing period. Accounts provided or managed by us may have different terms agreed separately.

4. Client information

If you invite clients, you confirm that you have their permission to do so and that you will use their information only to provide your services to them, in line with the laws that apply to you. Clients give their own consent in the app before sharing skin-health information. You must not enter information about anyone into EstheIQ without the right to do so.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • break the law or infringe anyone’s rights;
  • share your account, or resell or redistribute the Service or its content;
  • scrape, copy, or bulk-export our standards, scores, library, or training content, or use them to build a competing product;
  • probe, overload, or interfere with the Service, or get around its limits or security;
  • upload malware or content that is unlawful or abusive.

6. Our content and yours

The Service, including the EstheIQ Acne Safety Standards, scoring rules, library documents, and training videos, belongs to us or our licensors. While your account is in good standing, we give you a personal, non-transferable license to use it for your own professional practice. Reports you generate for your clients may be shared with those clients.

You keep ownership of what you submit. You give us permission to store and process it to run the Service for you. You also agree that ingredient names and product ingredient lists you submit, which are not personal information, may be used to improve our ingredient database and standards.

7. Third-party services

The Service relies on providers such as Google, Stripe, and our AI and ingredient-data providers. Their services are subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

8. Suspension and ending your account

You can stop using EstheIQ at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the Service or other users at risk, and we will tell you why when we reasonably can. Sections 2, 6, and 9 through 12 continue to apply after your account ends.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and we do not promise that the Service or its results will be accurate, complete, or uninterrupted.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$100.

11. Indemnity

If you are a professional, you agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses from claims arising out of the services you provide to your clients or your breach of these terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally.

13. Changes and contact

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will update the date above and notify account holders before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms. Questions? Email stacie@velicutis.com.
